n May 2015 Ebay seller busi_edu_toys from NSW in Australia was selling this Palestinian plate. The problem is that plates from this 1997 series in Palestine have a complicated system with the first digit indicating the place and the last two digits indicating the year of the vehicle.
Unfortunately 88 was never issued by Palestine as a date indicator, there doesn’t seem to be any watermark in the reflective sheeting and the hologram is missing. This is probably a salesman’s sample but could also be a fake made in somewhere like Hungary.
Why buy such mint looking plates if you don’t know what a genuine plate should be.
