In May 2015 Ebay seller curci-ba from Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina was trying to sell this Ethiopia trailer plate from the 2002 series.
Unfortunately this is nothing like a real Ethiopian trailer plate. This is an Utsch salesman’s sample that will have been given out when they were making a sales call.
Not only is it the wrong colour, but the design is wrong, one of the letters is wrong and the vehicle class number is missing. There is another one like this hanging on the wall of the Utsch museum with the same number but in a different colour.
Do not buy mint plates or you will end up with rubbish in your collection. Especially ones from exotic locations when you do not really know what the genuine plate should look like.
