These are all plates from the 1980s and 1990s from German and American manufacturers to show potential customers and try to win contracts. Some are known to be for showing to the Iraqis but none has any country name on it. None of these designs ever became one that was actually used anywhere.
Most of the plates have some vehicle class or words on them like ‹operations›, ‹irrigation› or ‹private›.
