n May 2017 Ebay seller me from East Texas, Pennsylvania in the U.S.A was selling this reproduction/replica Sri Lanka plate. He says it is used but it is certainly not a real, official, genuine Sri Lanka plate.
The overprinting is wrong, it should be pressed (embossed) and painted not these stick on letters, the letters and numbers have been printed wrong and they are themselves the wrong shape.
There is no etched security number and I expect the hologram is not a real one either.
