Ebay seller uzdecor-com (aka musikman33) from the USA sells a lot of decorative Uzbek items and I believe everything comes directly from Uzbekistan.
Since the middle of 2014 he has been selling plates that came from Uzbekistan but he knows nothing about them really. One collector asked him and that was his reply. He then started claiming that all his plates were genuine ones until in December 2014 he admitted they were all samples.
The unused Afghan private plates seem to be almost correct but they are actually Chinese manufacturer’s samples that must have escaped from the plate factory in Tashkent and have never been in Afghanistan. The holograms are almost certainly wrong on these plates but he takes very small photos. Similar plates with the same 56441 number appear on the manufacturer’s website.
The unused Afghan taxi plates not only have the same set of numerals 1,2,4,6,8 but they are the wrong colour. All Chinese manufacturer rejected test designs. Mint genuine plates like these just do not exist from these sort of countries.
Just another dodgy dealer passing off scrap aluminium as the genuine article.
