In August 2017 Ebay seller george-street-2007 from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia was trying to sell this supposedly Sri Lanka plate.
The plates from this period (the 1956 series) never had five digits after the vehicle class number and the Sri symbol after the class number is wrong. I am not even sure that this was made in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) it is so bad.
This is just a complete fake and worthless rubbish.
