Since March 2016 Ebay seller 9_71066 from Petrozavodsk, Karelia in Russia has been trying to sell these plates.
He is selling them as new and unused and even says they were made in Russia but they are not genuine officially issued plates. It seems that he may have 4 or more of each plate as it shows he has sold the individual plates several times already.
To many people, these will look like the genuine plates but they are actually made slightly wrong.
The Kazakh plate has the KZ at bottom left wrong, the Kyrgyz plate has a registration that never existed, the Uzbek plate has a region code that does not exist and the Georgian plate has the flag as a sticker not printed on the plate.
If you buy mint plates like this you will end up with scrap aluminium in your collection.
