In January 2018 Ebay seller pinkocelot from Poughkeepsie, New York, USA was trying to sell this fake Chinese plate.
He says it is used. No, it is not and it is completely the wrong colours.
The plate was originally sold by Chen Cheng (Ebay coolcc515) a year or two ago and he had several different colours of this same plate as well as many other of these fake ‹internal› plates. As an ALPCA member, he should have known better.
The genuine ones are officially issued to vehicles used off the public highway such as leisure park vehicles, vehicles inside big factory compounds, vehicles used in pedestrian precincts, etc.
Maybe 50 of these ‹internal› plates exist in collections and they are all fakes.
He even shows a picture of the rear of the plate and it is obvious it has never been used.
