In February 2017 Ebay seller biggerby2002 from Belarus was trying to sell this Belarus sample plate. He is selling it as new and unused.
This registration is one that has never existed like this as there are special reserved series for 2 line plates in Belarus. This is a test pressing or sample from when they first issued this series and the same registration exists on motorcycle blanks and others. All these plates are mint and unused.
The problem is going to come later when some of these plates get into the market or crooks try to distress them and claim they are genuine and/or rare. From a photo during a sale or trade it will be very difficult to tell if the plate is genuine or not.
This just makes everything difficult for everyone. Reproductions and samples are very bad for the hobby and if you care about the future of the hobby, it is better you do not buy reproductions or samples. It is better to have a genuine used plate than a nice shiny new one with an impossible registration.
