In December 2016 Ebay seller jbeerd from Moscow in Russia was trying to sell these Iranian replica plates. He is selling them as replicas (which is good) but they have lots of things wrong with them.
The commercial, government, police, private, protocol and taxi plates are on the wrong base. The older foreign travel plate never had the security features, has the wrong font and is printed wrong, the later foreign travel plate has the wrong font, the police and protocol plates have the Arabic printed wrong and the issue date on the plates is years before the series was introduced. The commercial, taxi and private plates have the security overprinting wrong.
Very poor quality replicas all of them.
If you buy replica plates, especially from this seller, you will end up with plates that are wrong and basically just scrap aluminium.
