In November 2016 Ebay seller jbeerd from Moscow in Russia was trying to sell these Armenia, Moldova and Russia replica plates. He is selling them as replicas (which is good) but they are all very poor copies and all are wrong.
The Armenian plate has the wrong blank, the letters AM are wrong, the line spacing is wrong, the font size is wrong and the hologram is missing.
The Moldovan plate has the wrong blank, there is no region A so the registration is a fantasy, the font size is wrong and the blue band is wrong.
The Russian plate he says has no flag because it is a type that ”were unofficially given to government and special agencies vehicles». This is basically not true and certainly never happened during the years that region 190 plates were issued.
Just scrap aluminium really as they are such poor quality replicas/reproductions/copies/fakes.
They are being put here so that if some crooked Ebay dealer buys them, distresses them and then tries to sell them for a profit claiming they are genuine, hopefully it will be noticed.
The big problem is going to come later when some of these plates get into the market. From a photo during a sale or trade it will be very difficult to tell if the plate or plates are genuine or not.
This just makes everything difficult for everyone. Reproductions are very bad for the hobby and if you care about the future of the hobby, it is better you do not buy reproductions.
