In November 2016 Ebay seller jbeerd from Moscow in Russia was trying to sell these current series Belarus replica plates and the Somalia Puntland president’s replica. He is selling them as replicas (which is good) but they are all very poor copies and all are wrong.
The Belarus plates all have the dash in the wrong place, on one of them the spacing is wrong and the 7 is wrong.
The Puntland plate has the wrong word in the middle.
Just scrap aluminium really as they are such poor quality replicas/reproductions/copies/fakes.
They are being put here so that if some crooked Ebay dealer buys them, distresses them and then tries to sell them for a profit claiming they are genuine, hopefully it will be noticed.
The big problem is going to come later when some of these plates get into the market. From a photo during a sale or trade it will be very difficult to tell if the plate or plates are genuine or not.
This just makes everything difficult for everyone. Reproductions are very bad for the hobby and if you care about the future of the hobby, it is better you do not buy reproductions.
