In July 2016 Ebay seller vw-frames from Munich in Germany (aka eurotags, bmw-frames, 2ma, go-ic) was trying to sell these prototype or test design plates. They have come direct from the scrap bins of the manufacturer in Germany. He has many, many more mint, unused, test design and sample plates.
He is selling these as «used» but this is completely untrue and these plates have certainly never been used and could not have been used as they are wrong.
Be very careful what you buy, don’t buy mint plates and check who you are buying from.
