In August 2015 Ebay seller pkw52 from Saskatchewan in Canada was selling these Indian plates. Plates of this design have never existed on the roads in India. These two are part of a very large batch of similar looking plates that were made especially for selling to collectors through an American plates dealer sometime around 2005 I think..
Indian plates have a very complicated system and the registration number indicates what vehicle class it is and therefore what colour the plate should be. Most of the batch of plates have wrong letters for their colour as well as being some sort of fantasy design.
All these plates are completely wrong and are not in any way genuine.
Do not buy plates if you do not know what a genuine plate looks like. Especially mint ones!
