In March 2015 Ebay seller schilderstadl form Germany was offering these plates.
Unfortunately none of them are genuine.
The Kyrgyzstan plate is one of many similar samples direct from the factory in Germany in the 1990s. The first time he tried to sell it, it had no holes in it. There are a lot of these samples with this registration so he maybe had several with the same number.
The Tajikistan plate is another sample direct from the factory in Germany and the design is slightly wrong.
The Tatarstan plate is another sample direct from the factory in Germany and the design is slightly wrong as well as T-TT never having been issued.
The Abkhazia plate is a test design direct from the factory in Germany and the design is slightly wrong as well as there being different plates with the same number in other, different, designs.
The cast Libya plate is a replica and the last time he tried to sell one of these plates, he admitted it was a replica. Not this time. There may be several of these replicas he has to sell.
The cast Saudi plate is another replica and, again, the last time he tried to sell one of them, he admitted it was a replica. Not this time. There are certainly several of these rather poor quality replicas that he has or has had.
The Somalia plate is a fake or a replica. The genuine 1960s/1970s plates were very well made and this one is not. The lettering is wrong and the symbol in the middle was never used on genuine plates. Not a good quality replica!
The Vatican plate is a replica. There are a lot of Vatican plates in collections and only perhaps 5 are genuine. The rest are all fakes or replicas.
The Kiribati supposedly motorcycle plate is just too good to be true. If it was genuine, this ‹plate› on an old rubber mudguard would be 40 years old. It looks like it was very recently painted and a registration like this has not been in use on the island for a long time.
The Yugoslavia is more of a fantasy plate as Bosnia never considered continuing to call themselves Yugoslavia and this one is well after the break-up of the country.
The UNMIK plate is a rejected test design and was never used.
The Seborga is a 10EUR souvenir and not a real plate.
Be very careful of plates that look too good to be true or look unused. If you do not know exactly what you are looking at, don’t buy it. There is a good chance you will be sold scrap aluminium and not a genuine plate at all.
