In October 2014 Ebay seller sandria13 from Rosrath in Germany was selling this plate that is supposed to be from the 1994 private vehicle series in Kazakhstan.
It is not. The font is wrong and the spacing of the digits is wrong. I do not know if it is an outright fake or a rejected design and has come straight from the scrap bins of the German manufacturer.
There are other Kazakh fakes like this with very similar numbers.
He/she is selling the plate as new but maybe some dishonest plate dealer will buy it cheap and try to sell it on as genuine and used.
Check with the online photo archives if you are not completely familiar with plates you are bidding on.
