In August 2012 Ebay sellers benertr and boxer4murat, both from Istambul, Turkey offered these fake Turkish and United Nations plates. None of them are genuine plates and have been made especially to part collectors from their money. They were all certainly made in Turkey. On the two line plates, the numbers are all possible but they are mint and would be 1980s registrations if genuine. The mint black plate is supposed to be for a police car but they have been white on blue since the very early 1980s. The UNAVEM and UNHCR plates are mint and UN vehicles are not known to have used Turkish thick dies or for UNHCR vehicles to have had plates in this style. A bunch of expensive fakes really.
