In July 2011 American Ebay seller outfrontlp started selling these replica or fake Dubai export plates. He normally makes novelty and advertising plates for the American market but he is now branching out into the fake plate market. He advertises he has many of this one available and there is also a poor attempt at an Albanian plate available.
They are the wrong size as they are made on American machines not the proper German machines and have the wrong, American made, bases as real Dubai export plates have never had slots in them.
Hopefully they will be too expensive to buy for most people and hopefully he will not try to sell any other fake plates. There are a large number of genuine used Dubai export plates on Ebay from several sellers in Ethiopia, where a lot of Dubai export cars end up.
