As of February 2011 there is an Ebay seller in Switzerland, n-gemperle, who is selling a pair of these replica Libyan customs plates. Unfortunately, even though genuine Libyan plates are very poorly pressed and painted, these replicas he has had made are even worse and the Arabic writing is just squiggles on the plate with little relationship to real Arabic letters. High priced rubbish designed to part collectors from their money.
